Our Vision
Environmental conservation led from the Global South, diverse and collaborative.
Our Mission
To strengthen local and diverse leadership in environmental conservation across Latin America, with its own voice and vision, and a transformative gender and well-being.
Our values
These are the principles we agreed to share as a team, guiding our mission, decision-making and interactions within the project. These values establish the ethical, environmental, spiritual and cultural boundaries within which our actions are built and the leadership identity we seek to strengthen.
Inclusion
We ensure that all individuals, regardless of their background, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status, have a voice and participation in decision-making. We recognize and value different forms of knowledge and experience, creating accessible and safe spaces for expression and collective learning.
Diversity
We celebrate the plurality of cultures, genders, knowledge systems, ways of life, and perspectives within conservation. We understand that the richness of ideas and experiences strengthens leadership and allows us to generate fairer and more sustainable solutions.
Respect
We act with integrity and consideration toward people, communities, and nature. We recognize the dignity of every individual, the value of traditional knowledge, and the need for harmonious coexistence with ecosystems. We are committed to eradicating all forms of discrimination and gender-based violence in our work and spaces.
Collaboration
We build solutions together through dialogue and teamwork, ensuring equitable representation of women, men, and non-binary individuals in decision-making. We believe in the power of alliances, cross-sector cooperation, knowledge exchange, and support networks as essential tools for social and environmental change.
Equity
We promote fair opportunities, recognizing and addressing historical inequalities, including gender disparities. We work to ensure that all individuals, especially those in vulnerable situations, can exercise leadership and contribute to conservation.
